The move represents a significant change in the music industry's attitudes to people copying music from the internet. Until now Pressplay and other online music services set up by the big record companies have had crippling restrictions on how much music consumers can download or burn on to a CD each month. These official online services have been criticised for failing to offer users a viable alternative to the free, illicit music swapping networks such as Morpheus, Kazaa and the now-defunct Napster. --SNIP-- http://tm0.com/sbct.cgi?s=125256324&i=612558&m=1&d=2955039 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- geoff.goodfellow () iconia com * Prague - CZ * telephone +420 603 706 558 "success is getting what you want & happiness is wanting what you get" http://www.nytimes.com/library/tech/99/01/biztech/articles/17drop.html http://www.tapsns.com/members-bio/geoff-goodfellow.shtml ------ End of Forwarded Message For archives see: http://www.interesting-people.org/archives/interesting-people/
