Australian study by Gartner shows that Apple computers are 36%
cheaper to buy and run than comparable WIndows machines (Total Cost
of Ownership).   They also found that Apple users are happier with
their machines, and have more productive work time using them.

And of course, they have a far better security record than Windows machines.
