How? By making phone calls. OK, it's a little more complicated than that. But my move into what's called "voice over Internet Protocol" (VoIP) -- making voice calls on the Net as opposed to the long-established circuit-switched system -- is a lot better for me than for the traditional phone companies whose services I've replaced.
