According to Dan Gillmor at the SJ Mercury News(http://www.siliconvalley.com/mld/siliconvalley/9607090.htm), the House recently passed what has to be one of the most dishonestly named pieces of legislation, the "Junk Fax Prevention Act of 2004" which would actually repeal the current
ban on unsolicited junk faxes and make them legal again. If you own a fax machine and don't want it turned into a printing press for the direct marketing industry, call your Senators' offices and tell them to vote
against S. 2603. -Ray ------------------------------------- You are subscribed as interesting-people () lists elistx com To manage your subscription, go to http://v2.listbox.com/member/?listname=ip Archives at: http://www.interesting-people.org/archives/interesting-people/
