I don't presume to know what our CIA, agencies, and troops regularly do to get information out of our enemies, but this article certainly helps clarify the usefulness, lack of usefulness, and enherent dangers of using torture and torture-like actions and how dangerous their use is to our society. Our use of torture-like tactics today would eerily make our society's actions like those of actions we despised in our former Soviet enemy.
