Please post ASAP:

Dell Computer has announced an issue with certain Dell laptop batteries that causes them to overheat, posing a potential risk of fire. It only pertains to certain laptop models using certain battery models. If customers wish to find out if they have batteries that would be included in this recall they can go to https:// www.dellbatteryprogram.com/Default.aspx <https:// www.dellbatteryprogram.com/> . There are instructions on how to identify their batteries and a list of models that are affected by this issue. It also provides a mechanism for customers to submit replacement requests.

Dell will be contacting customers for whom it has reliable customer information via email and letter .

Additional information will be posted on the Purchasing website as it becomes available.
