When U.S. pressure forced ICANN to re-appoint Verisign as registrar  
for the .Net root, it probably annoyed some people. Now that Verisign  
seems to be fingered in some rather grand corruption, this statement  
may be the last straw for some people,

The corruption, by the way, is a rip-off known as Crazy Frog. It was  
perpetrated by Jamster, which is owned by Verisign. More at http://
