Might there be bigger consequencs? Yes, but when's the last time you saw a team of sales reps think several moves ahead?
So, Google's motto "Don't be evil" applies to all of the company, except the sales teams?
A corporate culture must permeate everyone in the company. If that excludes sales folk, it might as well not exist.
