MediaDefender is a RIAA/MPAA contractor that attempts to thwart the distribution of copyrighted materials over P2P networks. Over the weekend, MediaDefender allegedly attacked Revision3 with a SYN flood after R3 found and closed a loophole MediaDefender was using.
