Hi Dave -

With a little help from our friends at Sunlight Foundation, Omidyar  
Network, GovTrack.US, Stanford University Libraries, and Google, we  
just sent the Public Printer of the United States a check for $17,325  
to purchase the bulk (SGML, text + images) version of the Code of  
Federal Regulations.

We've also proposed that they should release all of their bulk  
"products" to us since the marginal cost of distribution would be $0  
and they have already been paid by Congress to create these key  
government documents.
