A Florida man was arrested on charges that he attempted to extort over
$1 million from a company that makes computer-aided design software.
Michael Pitelis allegedly sent e-mail messages to executives at Waltham,
Mass.-based Parametric Technology threatening to post on the Web
numerical "keys" that would enable anyone to use the company's software
without first paying for it.
