Jackman Hooks Role As Hacker In Travolta's `Swordfish' (8/3)

Hugh Jackman (``X-Men'') is in negotiations to star opposite John
Travolta in Warner Bros.' ``Swordfish'' for director Dominic Sena. The
project is slated to start production at the end of the month. Jackman
will segue to ``Swordfish'' after he wraps director Tony Goldwyn's
``Animal Husbandry'' opposite Ashley Judd for Fox 2000 and producer
Lynda Obst.

``Swordfish,'' written by Skip Woods, is about a charismatic spy
(Travolta) hired by the CIA to enlist a computer hacker (Jackman)
recently released from prison to help steal $6 billion in unused
government funds. In exchange, the hacker can regain custody of his
daughter and start a new life.
