In an interview with the daily 24 Hours, President Petar Stoyanov urged the hacker to give him a call. "I'll offer him a job in my office without any hesitation. He is obviously very talented because he broke into the site without damaging any information," Stoyanov said. In his message, signed with the name "Kubaka," the hacker had complained about the dire prospects for young people in Bulgaria who are in search of jobs. The president's Web site was restored Friday. A Web site violation was reported Thursday by the ruling Union of Democratic Forces. Hackers broke into the party's site and left an obscene message.
