No firm dates as of yet.  I've been tentatively telling people that we
may have an alpha version available in the next two to three months
(oct/nov) depending on the amount of time we all have to work on it.  A
couple of us have some research projects we need to attend to before going
full swing, but hopefully those will be completed shortly.

With that said, we're making great strides and have completed a
significant amount of work.  We demoed some of the new meterpreter
functionality at blackhat (slides should be up soon).  

We'll post a news item to the site when (or if...) we commit to a firm
date :)
