If no major problems are found, this is the code that will be shipped with the final version of 3.1 On Linux: Install all of the ruby-gnome2 and ruby-glade2 dependencies -or- Use the BackTrack live CD (version 2 or 3) Use "svn update" to get the latest code On Windows: Download and install the MSF Ruby environment for Windows: https://metasploit.com/metasploit-3.1-win32-TEST2.exe Use the Online Update link to get the latest code. On OS X: Good luck getting ruby-gnome2 installed and working. Once you have a working version of "msfgui", open it up and play around a bit. Control+O will open a new multi-tab msfconsole that supports ^C/^Z session control, tab completion, and history. You can also load and use standard MSF plugins from within this console (autopwn, etc). If you enter a search term into the main window's search bar, only the matching modules will be shown. The search now takes into account references, descriptions, titles, and even author names. If you want to see the graphical remote file browser/process viewer, exploit a system using the meterpreter payload, then right click the meterpreter session and choose one of the options available. Thanks again to Fabrice who did the majority of the grunt work and all of the folks who have sent in patches, feedback, and modules.
