The aim is to exploit known vulnerabilities in testing platforms. If the target platform is not available, then this is for you to research and add. On Tue, Jun 8, 2010 at 7:01 PM, levene10 <levene10 () hotmail com> wrote:
Hi All I cant help but ran through some of the standard security features of new standard cpus and modern windows operating systems...( vista & 7 ) Which exploits and payloads of metasploit framework try to circumvents these.. I believe none , since all your buffer overflows, heap / stack corruptions have to choose the NoNx platform (a joke) to exploit, the framework has no rootkits explits which 64bit windows and VM have effective containment.. I am starting to get confused.. Kindly point out briefly metasploit framework's abilities to exploit new systems.. -----Original Message----- From: framework-bounces () spool metasploit com [mailto:framework-bounces () spool metasploit com] On Behalf Of framework-request () spool metasploit com Sent: Tuesday, June 08, 2010 3:00 AM To: framework () spool metasploit com Subject: framework Digest, Vol 29, Issue 9 Send framework mailing list submissions to framework () spool metasploit com To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit https://mail.metasploit.com/mailman/listinfo/framework or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to framework-request () spool metasploit com You can reach the person managing the list at framework-owner () spool metasploit com When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of framework digest..." Android also has other constraints that make it different to program for, such as program flow is all driven by Google callbacks, the program can be frozen/killed at any time and later restarted, the screen is tiny and should only show one window, the libraries are mostly different, etc. I'm sure an Android version can be made, but it would have to be made from scratch.
