The original NSF network in Texas was SESQUINET, operated by Rice U. THEnet was recognized as a regional a little later and SESQUINET and THEnet operated their infrastructure together for many years. SESQUINET is still operated by Rice. -- Stan | Academ Consulting Services |internet: sob () academ com Olan | For more info on academ, see this |uucp: {mcsun|amdahl}!academ!sob Barber | URL- http://www.academ.com/academ |Opinions expressed are only mine. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
