central office facilities

I'm trying to collect information on central office
facilities. Does anyone have any good resources for
this information? In addition, are there any tricks
for getting to the right people at the various ILECs?

Some of the things I'm interested in are collocation
at the CO, interoffice connectivity, and backhaul to
regional POPs.

I'd greatly appreciate any pointers. Thanks!
