Hi all,

Just (mostly) out of personal curiousity - is anyone here running any
PtP links using 31 bit prefixes rather than the /30's we're all happy
with?

If you go "huh?" take a look at rfc3021 - "Using 31-Bit Prefixes on
IPv4 Point-to-Point Links"

Thanks,
Adrian

Yes, and it works wonderfully. The only issue is (for me) getting around
the thought that even=low and odd=high, vs the case where odd=low and
even=high. For example, when I'm on a router, look at an interface, and
want to ping the other end, I have to get out of years of autopilot.
