The resilience of the infrastructure against denial-of-service attacks is one important aspect of the security of the DNS. The fact that there's still no reliable and widely-deployed way to authenticate answers received in response to queries also probably deserved a mention.
It's vaguely amusing that "anycast" is becoming a marketing buzzword. Joe
