Anything other than /64 removes the possibility of using privacy (aka temporary) addresses, enabled on Vista and above by default (net.ipv6.conf.all.use_tempaddr on Linux). For a single prefix a host may have by default up to 8 global unicast addresses - 1 EUI-64 and 7 privacy.
