Multipoint VPLS mapping to MEF E-TREE

Is there anyone out there who has a position on whether it is worth the effort to map Multi-root EVPL (E-TREE) atop 
VPLS or to await for PBB-TE and MEF to come up with somekind of a common roadmap ?
