actually most west european countries have laws against having your employees lift up stuff heavier than 20 kilos :P

IT job postings in the US often include physical qualifiers such as "must be able to lift weights of up to 50 pounds (~22.7 kilos)" and "must be able to use hand tools". The lecture about using safe lifting practices usually waits until after you accept the job and go through your new-employee orientation :)
