7) A lot of Windows users tell me that they wish to use Nmap, but
they don't want to give up Windows & WinNT because that is what all
their video games run on. First of all, Linux now supports Quake,
Doom, Civilization: Call To Power, and many other top quality games.
Further, you can set up your system dual-boot, allowing you to boot
into Windows when you are tired of productive work. But if you still
insist on running Nmap from Windows, there are a number of Web
gateways that will do the scanning for you (some cost money
   though). See http://www.insecure.org/nmap/index.html#projects for
   several examples.

Another alternative would be to use Trinux - which runs entirely in RAM.
Check it out at http://www.trinux.org

And also Dragon Linux - http://www.dragonlinux.nu/ - which uses
UMSDOS, so, if you are afraid of partitioning your HD, use it. And the
disto seems to be cool, check it out.
