In case anyone is interested, I will be speaking at the CanSecWest conference next month (10th-12th). I will demonstrate advanced use of Nmap to identify subtle security vulnerabilities in a network. Other speakers include Theo De Raadt (OpenBSD), Ken Williams (Packetstorm), Marty Roesch (Snort), rain.forest.puppy (Wiretrip), Ron Gula (Network Security Wizards), Dragos Ruiu (NetSentry), Lance Spitzner (SUN Enterprise Security Services), and hopefully Max Vision (Whitehats.com). The con is being held in Vancouver, one of the most beautiful regions in all of North America. At least that is what they claimed when they convinced me to come :). The URL for more info is http://www.dursec.com . Cheers, Fyodor PS: Anyone else giving talks about Nmap at upcoming conferences is welcome to send a note to the list with a description. -- Fyodor 'finger pgp () pgp insecure org | pgp -fka' Frustrated by firewalls?
