could you post the complete list? I'm curious about the next 50... :)

OK, I've appended the next 80 or so that got more than one
vote. These are the "honorable mentions" after the 50 I posted
yesterday. You're on you own in terms of URLs, descriptions, etc.

I wouldn't list that as a url...
NAT also isn't it's own entry
and really fits better with netfilter etc (or else by itself, since
Cisco etc do NAT also)

Actually some people have written in saying they ment the "NetBIOS
Auditing Tool". Which is actually something the Secure Networks Guys
wrote a few years ago.

Here it is, in fact:

amy~>ls -l /usr/local/sbin/nat
-rwx------ 1 root root 147450 Oct 29 1997 /usr/local/sbin/nat*

( I keep it perm'd so only root can run it because stupid Windows client
bugs make it much more effective when it can bind to port 137). Anyway,
I'll update the list to make it separate. I was thinking they meant
Network Address Translation. Nat is a great tool (but a bit dated).

Cheops -- http://www.marko.net/cheops/ --
Cheops's author has abandoned it, but CheopsNG
is at http://cheops-ng.sourceforge.net/

I looked at marko.net when I was tracking down URLs and didn't see
anything official suggesting people move to CheopsNG so I stuck with the
original URL . I don't know which one is better.
