Hello everyone, People frequently ask me whether nmap-hackers is archived anywhere. I proceed to explain the byzantine syntax for retrieving and searching the archive via email commands. They generally roll their eyes, scoff a little, and say "Oh, that is *SO* 1990!". I am pleased to announce that we have now embraced the Web-Archiving Age with a brand-spanking-new Hypermail archive of nmap-hackers and nmap-dev. And while I was at it, I threw in some other great lists free of charge! Get your real-time-updated dose of Bugtraq, Vuln-dev, linux-kernel-audit, attrition-defaced-sites, info-security-news, win2ksecadvice, IDS, Incidents, Firewall-Wizards, and many more lists straight from Lists.Insecure.Org ! Enjoy, and let me know if you have problems. Or if you want to suggest a new list. Or if you have Berkeley-mbox-style archives for a certain list that precede what I have on the site. Right now I only have what was availabe in my mbox or what I could pick up from Neohapsis and a number of other archive sites. The Nmap-hackers and Nmap-dev lists are complete since inception. Searching is not yet available, but when I get some free time (haha!) I'll add that in. Also there are some rough interface design edges that need to be smoothed out. Cheers, -Fyodor -------------------------------------------------- For help using this (nmap-hackers) mailing list, send a blank email to nmap-hackers-help () insecure org .
