-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi everyone- I got lots of responses to my last post (cool -- people are actually interested in nmap for windows), but, surprisingly, most were people either asking where to get nmap for windows or why the referenced code is not in nmapNT sp1 from eeye. So here goes: Nmap 2.54, since, IIRC, beta9 or so, has supported Windows in some form or other. Since beta30, it supports NT4.0 and up and Win95 and up. Since it is not yet final, there is no binary available from www.insecure.org, and I don't have the bandwidth or space right now to host it myself. Therefore, you need to compile it yourself. You need VC6 or VC.NET beta2 or higher. Get the source tarball from www.insecure.org, and you'll find the VC project file in the mswin32 directory. The fix I posted applies to that version (it will probably not work fully on versions before b30). If you want to compile with a freeware compiler, I have started working on a MinGW-compatible version. The beta30 version seems to compile OK, but does not link (at least not for me). It will also not support Win95 at all or Win2K without winpcap installed, due to lack of delay-load support. lcc-win32 may be easier, but I have no experience with it. If you can get either of these to work, please tell me :) As for nmapNT, I can't support that (I didn't write it).
