nmap services, protocols, and rpc files

 Hi,

As a matter of fact, nmap provides services, protocols, and rpc
mapping files that are much more complete and accurate that any other
file I know. It even became a sort of reference, and is used by other
third party software.
So, to guaranty a better sync between all these (possibly not up-to-date)
files copied from every version of the nmap package, shouldn't it be
good to make these files available on the Web at a permanent address
(on the nmap site) ?

So, one could always find the last versions of these files, with a
version number placed in their headers in commentary.
That would allow to monitor changes more easily, and establish a sort
of standard database easily available.
What do you think?

 Herve
