Would you try 3.59ALPHA4 and see if that helps? Some hosts were
taking far longer than they should due to an algorithm problem. A few
hosts that take a very long time can really hurt the overall times.

Greetings,

I see alot of this.

This is with 3.59ALPHA4 doing a

sudo nmap -A -T4 -v -d -p '1-65535' -oA prefix -i targets.txt

on FreeBSD 4.10-RELEASE. The targets file contains 5 /25's and one
/24.

If I let it run, it will come back with no hosts up. However, if I
don't use a synscan (i.e. don't prepend the above with `sudo') and
use a connect() scan, it will scan and give results.
