Nmap 4.20ALPHA6 and libpcap 0.9.4

i just noticed that namp is now checking for a libpcap of at least 0.9.4. what specifically is the requirement of 0.9.4? i ask for some OS's pull in functions of newer api's without pulling the entire thing, hence versioning is off. for example, if i pull that test out and let nmap use openbsd's built-in libpcap, everything functions normally (from i can tell so far). openbsd's libpcap has almost all the .9 api's, if not all (i'll have to check). cheers, okan _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://SecLists.Org
