Hi Peter, What kind of hardware platforms are we dealing with (i.e. Is this Solaris 8 box on Sparc or x86)? Irix on what kind of SGI rig?
Tested same comand line with: solaris 6,7,8,9,10 sparc solaris 10 x86 hpux11.11,11.23 parisc, 11.23/ia64 irix6.5 aix5.1,5.2,5.3 and various linux hosts. Looks like you're correct though, it is probably due to our network topology (someone banished solaris to the nether end of our network?), I see similar discrepancies in timings with nmap-3.75. Sorry for the noise. Peter
