OS is WinXP Pro on a Dell 700m notebook. I cannot troubleshoot it now

I am kind of tipsy at the moment (it's Saturday night you know) so I just

I had the same problem. Delete the ".umit" directory from the Document And
Settings directory, and under your username (like "C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\.umit").

That fixed it for me.

Thanks,

Yes, thanks for this tip. I was just getting a Umit crash window
behind the Umit splash. No error was ever displayed.

Your trick fixed it though. It comes up fine now.

Mysterious question to Fyodor: what happened to SOC4?
