Delete the ".umit" directory from the Document And Settings directory, and under your username (like "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\.umit"). That fixed it for me. Yes, thanks for this tip. I was just getting a Umit crash window behind the Umit splash. No error was ever displayed. Your trick fixed it though. It comes up fine now.
