Hi, I'm currently running Windows Professional XP sp3 running Nmap 4.68. Here's an example of the problem i've encountered on scanning your scanme.nmap.org C:\Program Files\Nmap>nam -v -script-trace scanme.nmap.org Starting Nmap 4.68 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2008-09-05 10:34 Eastern Daylight Initiation Ping Scan at 10:34 Scanning 64.13.134.52 Completed Ping Scan at 10:34, 0.27s elaped (1 total hosts) Initiation Parallel DNS resolution of 1 host. at 10:34 Completed Parallel DNS resolution of 1 host. at 10:34, 0.22 elapsed Initiation SYN Stealth scan at 10:34 Scanning scanme.nmap.org (64.13.134.52) [1715 ports] Discovered open port 80/tcp on 64.13.134.52 Disocvered open port 53/tcp on 64.13.134.52 Discovered open port 22/tcp on 64.13.134.52 Any time "SYN Stealth scan" runs, I lose my internet connection completely. I have to restart my computer. Disable/Enable Internet connection does not fix the problem. This happens on both the gui zen map and console 4.68. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem. Just thought I'd let you know. If you're interested. Heath Stay up to date on your PC, the Web, and your mobile phone with Windows Live.
