Hmmm

Now I am a little confused.

In Zenmap on the left. some are IPs and some are dns names (not sure why
some are IP only when I only used names in the original scans).

In the first tab that says "Nmap Output" it shows the "raw" Nmap output.

for me on Windows Vista it only shows the raw output for the last scan
performed.

I can't scroll up or down to find previous scans.

Zenmap automatically combines the results of all your scans in a process
we call "scan aggregation." Please see the following sections of the
user's guide:

http://nmap.org/book/zenmap-scanning.html#aggregation
http://nmap.org/book/zenmap-results.html#zenmap-tab-nmap-output

At the top of the "Nmap Output" tab there is a box that shows the
command used (next to the "Details" button). You can click on the box
and you will get a list of all the scans that are aggregated in that
window. You can select one to see its output.

Another way to see the output of a selected scan is to go to the "Scans"
tab and double-click the scan whose output you want to see.

I don't claim that this is the best user interface solution. Scan
aggregation is a brand-new feature. Certainly suggestions are welcome as
to how better to communicate that there may be several scans run in a
window and their results are combined together as if you had done one
big scan.
