I'm not able to build the current SVN copy of Nmap because of a Lua
build error in nse_bit.cc:

g++ -c -Ilibdnet-stripped/include  -Inbase -Insock/include -g -O2 -Wall  -fno-strict-aliasing   -DHAVE_CONFIG_H
-DNMAP_NAME=\"Nmap\" -DNMAP_URL=\"http://nmap.org\"; -DNMAP_PLATFORM=\"x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu\"
-DNMAPDATADIR=\"/usr/local/share/nmap\" -DNMAPLIBEXECDIR=\"/usr/local/libexec/nmap\" nse_bit.cc -o nse_bit.o
nse_bit.cc: In function 'int luaopen_bit(lua_State*)':
nse_bit.cc:67: error: 'luaL_openlib' was not declared in this scope
make[1]: *** [nse_bit.o] Error 1

I'm not particularly good at tracking down build errors like this. I
do have Lua 5.1.3 on the system. Here are some other pertinent
packages on the system:

gcc-4.1.2, glibc-2.6.1-r0, 2.6.26-gentoo-r1 x86_64, autoconf-2.61-r2

I've attached my config.log in case that helps.

Brandon
