Matt, can you rerun your command, this time with debugging turned on and report the last few lines before the crash? Here's the suggested command: nmap -d3 -T4 --version-light -sV -F -O 192.168.1.1-254 When it crashes, a copy and paste of the last screen full of output will probably give us an idea of what the issue may be.
