Nping development

Hello,

A friend of mine (Kantor) and I (Henri) were interested in coding
nping. We would like to
know if some coders have ever started to work on it and, where to find
the code if available. If not how could we start? I mean is there a
prefered way to start
such a thing.

We are users of Nmap scanner fond of networking and free software
addicts. We wanted to improve and rewrite APing (our previous project,
written in Python)
in C, but we saw that the Nmap Project wanted to create a hping2 replacement,
so we decided to go on that way.


Please excuse possible language mistakes, neither Kantor nor I are
native english speakers.
