In the meantime before a solution to this problem is discovered, why don't you try the same syntax on a linux platform? On Thu, Mar 5, 2009 at 8:08 AM, dsk <dsk () bglinux org> wrote:
Hello, I'm having troubles with the latest stable nmap 4.76. The thing is that when I try to scan a domain it crashes - using the "nmap domainname" as command line, but when I use "nmap domainname -d -vvv" it doesn't crash - strange! Also, tried with nmap 4.68 and it didn't crash either. Here's an output of nmap --iflist C:\>nmap --iflist Starting Nmap 4.76 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2009-03-05 00:05 FLE Standard Time ************************INTERFACES************************ DEV (SHORT) IP/MASK TYPE UP MAC eth0 (eth0) (null)/0 ethernet down 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx eth1 (eth1) 10.99.0.61/23 ethernet up 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx eth2 (eth2) (null)/0 ethernet down xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx ppp0 (ppp0) xx.xx.xx.xx/xx other up lo0 (lo0) 127.0.0.1/8 loopback up DEV WINDEVICE eth0 \Device\NPF_{AFCC8DB3-6BCD-4093-B3D6-0BB95F33F8F8} eth1 \Device\NPF_{17CEA702-7F31-450B-B638-0F6AD394BABB} eth2 \Device\NPF_{D63BA071-8DBF-446A-9EA5-4F013924EDA3} ppp0 \Device\NPF_{86549794-117B-48AF-8E40-03C622B8CDC5} lo0 <none> <none> \Device\NPF_GenericDialupAdapter Almost forgot - this is windows xp sp2 with latest winpcap.
