I'm definitely not a regular Zenmap user (I fixed some bugs a while back but I
rarely even touch it), but I've liked the idea of saving the graph since I
heard about it.  Since I rarely use Zenmap I haven't tried Joao's patch yet,
so these next parts are purely based on what you're saying in the quoted
portion of the email...

I think saving the currently viewable region is the most obvious and best way
to go.  I would be highly surprised if it *didn't* do this.  Since the ability
is there to manipulate the graph (rearrange, zoom, etc), why would the save
feature only save some pre-ordained, whole view of the graph?

Also, instead of having an option to save the whole thing, can't you just
bring the whole graph into the window like (IIRC) it does to start with?
