Hey Ron,

You can be surprised, I took an universe of 1400 NT machines and taking off
the ones that weren`t powered on, the script run OK on 40 per cent of the
machines. Tomorrow I will make a lab and infect one NT machine with
Conficker C. to test the script again.
But I still get some NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND on some XP machines and
BETA6 and that`s sound very strange, I`ll look at some and check for the
worm. When I reduce de T time to 3 I receive less of this error message.
Tomorrow I`ll test the BETA7 too.

Thanks,
Edson.

Hello everyone.

Can I use Nmap Beta6 to scan Windows NT 4.0 hosts? Will it work?
I'm trying to scan my full range net IP's and I get a lot of errors
like '*ERROR:
NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND', 'ERROR: NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED' and
'NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED' .*
*Som NT 4.0 workstations work, but other not, anyone knows about this
issue?

Scanning Windows NT with my scripts is pretty spotty. I don't expect it to
work (and I'm surprised if it works at all).

NT doesn't support a lot of the interfaces I use.

Ron
