Several of my password dictionaries include this word to signal the loop to use the username as a password. Against some systems, especially test and development, the success rate of this combo has proven to be relatively high. Perhaps this is something that could be standardized using some clever method so that other brute scripts could us it too.
smb-brute tries the username + the username backwards + blank before anything else. But that's done at the script level, not the file. -- Ron Bowes http://www.skullsecurity.org http://www.twitter.com/iagox86 _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
