could not locate nse_main.lua

After checkout of SVN and fresh make install:

> Starting Nmap 5.30BETA1 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2010-05-10 17:09 CEST
> Unable to find nmap-services! Resorting to /etc/services
> NSE: failed to initialize the script engine:
> could not locate nse_main.lua
>
> QUITTING!


Found out that the requestet env from nmap.cc:2826
>  if (!foundsomething && (dirptr = getenv("NMAPDIR"))) {
can't find $NMAPDIR.

After env NMAPDIR=/PATH/TO/FOLDER/WITH/nse_main.lua it's working.
