Just for reference, we decided to go with the 'manual' approach, where all the options will be written up in the HTML 
[Django template] itself. In retrospect, this shouldn't be much harder to edit than a separate file, but it will 
require that any new contributors be relatively familiar to Django.

P.S. Of course, I'll still be around to do that ;)
