I have following issue regarding FTP BRUTE. please find the attachment . ISSUE : i am using windows os on the IP 192.168.1.101, the site_a hosted on it. i have set password : password now to crack it i am using MACBOOK running n the 192.168.1.107 now i have using the following script: nmap -sV --script=ftp-brute 192.168.1.101 but it takes very long time with no result !!
In case of doubt, you should always launch Nmap with the --script-trace and debugging (-d2) options: scripts developpers often add interesting infos on what's going on (or wrong) while script execution. For example, a missing password dictionary file, wrong pathes, unable to discuss with the target and so on.
