Hi! Here are the accomplishments of the week and the priorities for next week: Accomplishments: * Did some cleanup in Nmap's osscan2.x files. * Various improvements to libnetutil's packet classes. * Fixed a couple of bugs in ipv6fp.py. * Designed a possible architecture for the new IPv6 OS detection engine. The goals are to have a cleaner design, a better congestion control and to be extensible to IPv4, just in case in the future we decide that the current IPv4 OS engine is worth porting, to use the same approach. * I'm currently implementing a prototype of such architecture so we can see how it performs. * Had a meeting with David and scheduled the next one. Priorities: * Continue working on the implementation of the OS detection engine. Regards, Luis MartinGarcia. _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
