Hi David, Thanks a lot for testing. Unfortunately I lack time to properly troubleshoot the issue now and can't reproduce... All engines give me the ERROR message. Is it something you can reliably reproduce? Could you have a look at the patch attached. It was generated against trunk, so that the --nsock-engine option is available for testing. It adds the poll engine, just like what's in my nmap-exp branch. But it also uses POLLRDHUP if available, and defines _GNU_SOURCE for that in engine_poll.c. The impact of this macro under non GNU/Linux systems should be checked. Any concern? Let me know whether it fixes the problem, otherwise I'll give it another try when time permits. Regards. -- Henri
