Hi, I have desire to contribute in GSOC 2012 open source development. I go through the GSOC 2012 projects details and it sounds to me an interesting project. I am very much interested in the following project: • IPv6 Expert
Thank you for writing, Muhammad. In about one week you will be able to submit your project proposal and resume to http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/homepage/google/gsoc2012. This mailing list is the right place to ask questions about specific things that you plan to propose. One of the things I am thinking about for a project, which is not yet on the ideas page, is to implement more machine learning features for our IPv6 OS detection engine. See http://nmap.org/book/osdetect-ipv6-methods.html#osdetect-features-ipv6. I would also like to see which features are the most and least distinguishing and potentially reduce the size of our classification model.
