Thanks Dan. I tried that but no joy. I also wiped my install and grabbed it via svn again..still the same issue. Not really a coder but checking the scripts and their dependencies it looks like ajp-auth needs a table library but none exists in the nselib folder (a tab.lua does). Could this be the issue? If that works, then there is a problem with your installation such that Nmap is looking in the wrong place for scripts. Running with -d2 will show "Fetchfile found..." lines, which indicate where it's looking for files. Dan
