Yea , I was there (on irc) when you two talked about it.
For what I am doing , I don't need a full msgpack implementation
since I'm calling just two or three rpc methods.

On the other hand , I've stumbled upon this:
https://github.com/kengonakajima/lua-msgpack
which is a pure-lua msgpack implementation, the author does say that it's
a lot slower than native implementation, but it should be enough.
Mentioning it here since it seems easier to integrate into NSE in case
you want to interact with metasploit like @kernelsmith wanted.

Aleksandar,

Regarding metasploit-info, you may want to ping Joshua Smith
(@kernelsmith) to see how far he got on his Metasploit RPC script and
if he would be willing to contribute it. If I recall correctly, he
added a compiled-C Msgpack library to support it, so that may have
applications beyond just Metasploit interaction.

Hi all,

as was mentioned in my last report, during the past week
I've been working on a new metasploit brute script
which has been added few days ago.

Also, I've been working on and testing some improvements
to the brute and unpwdb libraries. These improvements are
almost ready and I will probably announce them for comments
in a day or two.

For the following week, I plan to focus on firstly finishing this work on
brute and unpwdb and to do some research into various RAT frameworks like
Poison Ivy and see if we can gather some information from those.
I will also be working on metasploit-info script which should be able to
get whatever info it can from the metasploit server (post auth of course).
